well, another wig order was placed to Raquel Welch. among the new styles i ordered is ‘Siren’. this wig is a great layered shag, like ‘Salsa’ it can be styled to fit a variety of face shapes. many of you who have come in have requested a little less fullness on the top and this wig fits the bill. at the rate these wigs are selling luxe salon may become the ‘wig-wam’ of the mount vernon/burlington area. the photo above shows ’siren’ tucked behind the ears for a more casual look. it can also be “wamped out” for a dressier occasion or piled high on top of your head with loose tendrils framing your face for a great evening out.

The Raquel Welch wigs are doing even better than I expected! Thanks to those of you who recommended the salon to friends going through chemo. It’s hugely gratifying to be able to help these women in their effort to approach their health challenges with self confidence and a feeling of normalcy. I have recently placed another order to replenish the wig stock and some of the new styles and colors are incredible!
I made a sizable purchase (about six cases) of Aquage Color Protecting Shampoo and Healing Conditioner combo-packs in the liter/quart sizes. Considerable savings if you like to buy in bulk. The liter of shampoo and quart of conditioner retail at $28. That’s about $5 more than the regular 12oz. size of shampoo and the 8oz. conditioner. Here’s a tip … if your kids use all of your good shampoo and conditioner try putting your good stuff in a cheaper brand shampoo bottle and fill the good shampoo bottles with the cheap stuff. By the time your kids figure this out you could have locks installed on your master bathroom door :)
Christmas is getting closer … don’t wait to call in for an appointment. I will be working up to December 23rd and will return on December 27th. If you need gift certificates you can phone in your requests and I will custom print the certicates as needed. Gift certificate are a good way to clean up the family or even a close friend. Drinking them pretty doesn’t always work :)
