VORTEX is now available at luxe salon in mount vernon. this is one of the newest styles from the raquel welch 2007 “hair u wear” collection. it’s perfect for faces that need a little slimming, having most of the fullness on top. it also sports a fringed nape and sides with open ear tabs for those of you who wear glasses.it comes in the new shadow shades colors with more depth at the root area for a very “real” look. VORTEX is also available in a few shades of gray as well.
there are still a few aquage color protecting shampoo/healing conditioners left in the jumbo sizes. it’s a substantial saving over the regular sized price.
it’s hard to believe it’s been three weeks since the accident but after numerous x-rays, a couple of cat scans, enough morphine to make courtney love feel pretty, and a lot of help from all the good energy sent my way, i feel it’s time to reopen the salon again and return to work.
i’ll have to wear the back brace for 6 months but, honestly, standing is the most comfortable position for me right now.
during my down time i purchased a salon software package and have officially joined the 21st century. this should keep me better organized… we’ll see.
my schedule will be rather light the first week until i get a grip on how many people i can do comfortably i truly appreciate your patience in this matter. thanks again, and again.
well kids, went to see dr.sanford wright yesterday in everett and he has given me the go ahead to return to work this monday. the back brace has to stay on for 6 months, so accessorizing will be my greatest challenge. during my convelesence i finally got my software for the salon up and running. it’s a great little program by INSIGHT SOFTWARE. the laptop will be password protected to ensure our privacy and it should help me run the salon more efficiently. 3 of my latest pieces of art have been accepted to the UNCLAD show coming up in stanwood in the not too distant future. the images will be posted on my art website.
going to spend my last weekend of my respite perfecting my skills learning the art of coloring wigs so i can offer truly customized versions of the Raquel Welch Wigs to my clients. there has been also enough time to go over the new styling/cutting dvds from aquage and other lines. after all spring is coming and it’s time to try something new!
