what a great wig for those of you who want a little more sass.spellbound from gabor and hairuwear has that whole “shag” thing going on.it’s an updated version of that classic look that got women from under the dryer and back in control of their look.spellbound works very well for a rounder face shape that need a little elongating. it can be worn forward, framing the face or tucked behind the ears.
“Resolve” is a hot little number I’ve started to carry since many of you have requested a smaller head size that can be worn by women of a certain age.This wig does not sacrifice style or believability.It comes in many of the graduated/ highlighted shades from the Gabor color ring

Many of ther colors are so very close to the Raquel Welch wig line’s colors.”Reslove” has a very comfortable capless cap that memorizes the shape of your head after an hour or so of wearing.The style is locked in like all the products from the Raquel Welch and Jessica Simpson lines as well.These can be special ordered in special cap sizes and colors. It takes about a week to ten days.Resolve to be a head turner!

most of you have noticed that new wig styles keep pouring in. because of demand, in addition to the RAQUEL WELCH WIG line i am carrying more of the GABOR WIG line as well.the GABOR wigs are a little more traditional/ classic in style with great color blending and comfortable cap construction.GABOR has some beautiful grey blends that bridge the gap between grey and cool blonde.
my first [in a long time] solo session with the american cancer society’s “LOOK GOOD FEEL BETTER” seminar went well at the SKAGIT HOSPITAL a few weeks ago . we had a great turn out and some many of the participants got to help each other out by sharing their experiences.what a great feeling was in that room.
the posters and brochures are in for the camano art association’s mother’s day studio tour friday saturday and sun[mother's] day.the cover images this year for the posters and brochures are originals of mine. i am so psyched. copies of the image will be sold at my studio during the extended weekend along with some new images and a few old favorites…. the salon will be closed the thursday , friday and saturday before mother’s day.
the new raquel welch style “voltage” is on back order.they blew out the salon door as quicly as they arrived.they will be available again in late june.i will order a lot more this go round.the new gabor wig styles are out now, too. if the special orders of the gabor line continue to grow, i may start to carry that line as well. they have a lot more petite head size options.
the aquage hairspray deals are in and will be available all this month. i am still waiting to hear from my vendors about more of the litre shampoo/ conditioner duos.i’ve committed to eight cases to keep them available year round…..
just got in another raquel welch style from the spring 2007 collection. VOLTAGE is a great choppy little bob good for most face shapes and can be custom cut and highlighted to fit your needs or whims.

VORTEX is now available at luxe salon in mount vernon. this is one of the newest styles from the raquel welch 2007 “hair u wear” collection. it’s perfect for faces that need a little slimming, having most of the fullness on top. it also sports a fringed nape and sides with open ear tabs for those of you who wear glasses.it comes in the new shadow shades colors with more depth at the root area for a very “real” look. VORTEX is also available in a few shades of gray as well.
there are still a few aquage color protecting shampoo/healing conditioners left in the jumbo sizes. it’s a substantial saving over the regular sized price.
it’s hard to believe it’s been three weeks since the accident but after numerous x-rays, a couple of cat scans, enough morphine to make courtney love feel pretty, and a lot of help from all the good energy sent my way, i feel it’s time to reopen the salon again and return to work.
i’ll have to wear the back brace for 6 months but, honestly, standing is the most comfortable position for me right now.
during my down time i purchased a salon software package and have officially joined the 21st century. this should keep me better organized… we’ll see.
